Volunteers make a vital contribution to the work of St Petrocs.
Volunteering is an amazing way to get involved in our work and we value the ideas, energy and time that volunteers give while working alongside our staff, clients and in the community.
The pressure of poverty and lack of affordable housing in Cornwall means people need our help more than ever. As a St Petrocs volunteer, you can get involved in achieving our ambition to end homelessness in Cornwall and make a real impact that can change lives.
Whether you’re looking to learn new skills, keep busy, give something back or share your knowledge and abilities we are immensely grateful for every offer of volunteering.
What sort of volunteering can I do?
Here are just some of the activities and skills that our volunteers provide:
Sorting donations
Receiving, receipting and sorting gifts in kind and monetary donations to the centre
Supporting at events
Attend and support us at events and help with fundraising activities
Raising awareness
Support us with raising awareness about the work we do
General office & admin tasks
Support us with a daily activities across the services, helping with admin tasks and organising events
Art & creative groups
Support us with creating and helping to run activities to enhance our clients' daily lives and visits to the resource centres
